The Tri-cities Off Road Cycling Association (TORCA) is pleased to formally announce the date of its Annual General Meeting.

Date: Thursday December 8, 2016
Time: 7:00pm-8:30pm
Where: Coquitlam’s City Center Library (Room 136) 1169 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam

We will recap our accomplishments from the past year, discuss our direction for 2017, review our financial statement, and hold elections for the TORCA executive positions.
In addition, there will be a special resolution to update TORCA’s bylaws so that they comply with the new Society Act of BC.  A copy of the proposed new bylaws can be found here (click to view).

We are looking for some passionate and committed people to join the executive.  Executive job descriptions are available here (click to view).  If you are interested in running for one of these positions, please email [email protected] with your name and the position you are interested in so that we may prepare the ballots before the AGM. Nominations will also be accepted at the meeting.

If joining the TORCA executive isn’t your thing, then maybe you will consider joining a committee.  We are looking for people help with races, fundraising, social media/website, trail building, and special events.  If any of these appeal to you, please let a director know at the AGM or email [email protected] .

Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM. However, only TORCA members who have paid their annual membership are entitled to vote.  Voting by proxy is not permitted.
