February 5 – Trail reroutes are now in effect. Please see below.
January 19 – details regarding construction on Harper Rd.
Frank’s, Flow and Hustler will have rerouted exits starting February 1st. These reroutes will be in place until at least February 28th, in order to avoid user conflicts with road building operations near the hairpin corner on Harper Rd. Frank’s will see the most dramatic exit change as it will exit onto Conifer Rd during this time. Hustler and Flow will exit onto Harper Rd near where the two trails meet. TORCA and Wesbild are in consultation to provide new options that allow as much trail to remain as possible once the road construction is complete. In the meantime, please consider starting your rides at the Conifer (green) gate or the yellow gate near the gun club, and please respect all signage, fencing and directions. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
January 15
The City of Coquitlam is requiring Wesbild to reroute the Harper Rd extension from the hairpin corner. This means the temporary rerouting of Frank’s and Hustler trails while they install drainage and remove trees. Wesbild is being extremely cooperative in working with TORCA to allow the trails on their land to remain accessible for as long as possible while preventing conflicts between trail users and heavy equipment that will be on the mountain.
We will share more details as they become available to us. In the meantime, please respect all fencing and flagging as our cooperation is required in order to keep the trails open.
