Our first Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day was a huge success! We lucked out with the weather and we had a such an awesome turnout. Kids were smiling, parents got to ride their bikes; everyone was happy. Thanks to all the amazing sponsors who made sure the kids were hydrated, snacked up and able to walk away with a goodie bag at the end of the day: Thrifty Foods, Giant, Kona, & MEC. Thank you to IMBA – Canada for starting this event all those years ago and to Ryan Leech for giving up a few hours to show the kids what’s possible on a bike if you just keep trying. Thanks to up and coming photographer, Emily Kasal, for giving us some great photos to look back on.
