TORCC has been busy these last few months. Read on to see what we’ve been up to:
On Sunday May 5th, TORCC will be hosting a trail day on Eagle’s notorious climbing trail, Physiotherapy. A lot was accomplished the last trail day to smooth out the first ascent. We’ll continue to work up the trail to re-dirt some battered sections and to establish a ride around a fallen tree.
If you love to schralp the trails, consider putting in some time to give back and hang out with some dirt nerds. You may even learn about some new trails you never knew existed. We’ll meet at Noons Creek Park at the corner of Panorama Drive and Stoneridge Drive at 9am . Grub will be provided. (vegetarian options available). You’re guaranteed to walk away with a full belly, a sore back, some new friends and most likely some fun swag. Work should wrap up around 2pm.
A big thank you goes to our sponsors for the day:

New Signage for Eagle Mountain
Expect to see some trail head markers very soon! Signs for some of the trails on Eagle Mountain are in the works. A special thanks to West Coast Cycling
for the grant to get this project off the ground!
Members of TORCC have also been communicating with a representative from the Province’s Ministry of Resource Operations to get “official” trail status for some of the routes on Eagle. The discussions are slow-moving, but we’re confident they will result in a trail user agreement which will benefit the entire mountain biking community. We’ll keep you posted on the progress.
