We have received the following notification from Recreation Sites and Trails:

“Due to the lack of a formalized maintenance plan and the significant environmental impacts of motorized use on the localized trail known as Decapitator, ‘No Motorized Vehicle Beyond This Point’ signs have been posted at three locations on the trail. (Photos have been attached for your reference)

Silt fencing and “CAUTION Salmon at Work’ signs have also been placed in environmentally sensitive areas associated to the Noons Creek and West Noons Creek watersheds.

Recreation Sites and Trails made the above efforts to mitigate further advanced erosion which could eventually render the trail unusable.”
