Tune up your skills for summer riding with TORCA Youth Skill Clinics!
TORCA is excited to partner with Essential Cycles to offer clinics to help build fundamental and more advanced mountain bike skills for youth aged 9 to 18 years old. These clinics will help build confidence in riders of all abilities to tackle new challenges on the trail just in time for summer riding.
When: Wednesday June 1st, 6:15pm-8:15pm
Who: All genders intermediate riders 14-18 years old. Intermediate: getting more comfortable on the trails and looking for more technical lines and some increased steepness; can climb higher on the mountain but still may push in a few sections. Bert Flinn: including trails such as North Starz, Stinger, Backyard Trail. Burke: Six, BBT, Lower Elevator. Eagle: starting to explore the mountain: Blueline, Manhandler (but not doing the features), 3LP, EBD, Bad Blood.
Where: Burke mountain (meet 3501 Harper road, near the bottom of Hustler)
Registration: TORCA is offering these skill clinics at a reduced rate of only $20. Registration is required. Total group size will be limited to 6 riders (plus one coach). A TORCA Liability Waiver will be required for insurance purposes and it needs to be completed at time of registration. TORCA Membership can also be purchased during registration (but is not mandatory).

Bring: Mountain bike in good working condition (minimum front suspension recommended), comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, multi-tool, mini-pump, spare tube that fits your bike, tire levers, snack, water and a mask. Rider should be able to carry all of these items with them on the ride (we may not be returning to start/finish location until the end). If access to any of these items is an issue, please let us know and we will see what we can do to help!
Provided: Guided skill clinics. One coach will be present for each session.
