Tune up your skills for summer riding with TORCA Youth Skill Clinics!
TORCA is excited to partner with Essential Cycles to offer clinics to help build fundamental and more advanced mountain bike skills for youth aged 9 to 18 years old. These clinics will help build confidence in riders of all abilities to tackle new challenges on the trail just in time for summer riding.
When: Wednesday June 8th, 6:15m to 8:15pm
Who: All genders advanced level riders 9-18 years old. Advanced: enjoying tougher trails and more climbing to get to the descents. Burke: Upper Elevator, Red R, Slayer, Bean. Eagle: Manhandler (riding or wanting to tackle features), EBD (including features), Hammertime, Randy’s, Juan Valdez.
Where: Eagle Mountain (meet at Aspenwood Elementary School parking lot: 2001 Panorama Dr, Port Moody, BC V3H 5M3, Canada)
Registration: TORCA is offering these skill clinics at a reduced rate of only $20. Registration is required. Total group size will be limited to 6 riders (plus one coach). A TORCA Liability Waiver will be required for insurance purposes and it needs to be completed at time of registration. TORCA Membership can also be purchased during registration (but is not mandatory).

(this waiver is separate from the TORCA waiver)
Bring: Mountain bike in good working condition (minimum front suspension recommended), comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, multi-tool, mini-pump, spare tube that fits your bike, tire levers, snack, water and a mask. Rider should be able to carry all of these items with them on the ride (we may not be returning to start/finish location until the end). If access to any of these items is an issue, please let us know and we will see what we can do to help!
Provided: Guided skill clinics. One coach will be present for each session.
