Tune up your skills for summer riding with TORCA Skill Clinics!
TORCA is excited to partner with Sandra Walter to offer clinics to help build fundamental and more advanced mountain bike skills for youth and women 18+. These clinics will help build confidence in riders of all abilities to tackle new challenges on the trail just in time for summer riding.
When: Monday July 29th, 1:00pm-2:30pm
Who: Girls 9-16 years old who are wanting to learn or improve on body positioning while riding.
Where: Bert Flinn Park (meet at the tenis courts off of David avenue on the east side of Heritage Woods Secondary School)
Registration: TORCA is offering these skill clinics at a reduced rate of only $20. Registration is required. Total group size will be limited to 6 riders (plus one coach). A TORCA Liability Waiver will be required for insurance purposes and it needs to be completed at time of registration. TORCA Membership can also be purchased during registration (but is not mandatory).
Bring: Mountain bike in good working condition (minimum front suspension recommended), comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, multi-tool, mini-pump, spare tube that fits your bike, tire levers, snack and water. Rider should be able to carry all of these items with them on the ride (we may not be returning to start/finish location until the end). If access to any of these items is an issue, please let us know and we will see what we can do to help!
Provided: Guided skill clinics. One coach will be present for each session.
