DESCRIPTION:Girls Ride &amp\; Non-binary Beginner/Intermediate (13-18 years
  old)\nTORCA is once again partnering with local pro rider Sandra Walter a
 nd offering five girls group rides. Please make sure you sign up for the c
 orrect ride for the age/skill level.\n\nWho: Beginner/Intermediate Girls a
 nd Non-binary youth 13-18 years old\n\nWhen: Tuesday May 23rd 4-6pm\n\nWhe
 re: Bert Flinn Park (meet at the Tennis courts off of David Avenue on the 
 east side of Heritage Woods Secondary School)\n\nAbout Sandra: Sandra Walt
 er has been mountain biking for three decades and competes at the elite le
 vel for Liv Racing and Team Canada. She has a wide range of experience coa
 ching children and adults. Sandra started coaching as a teenager\, leading
  kids’ mountain bike camps and leading Team BC’s cycling squad at the 
 1999 BC Canada Summer Games. She has always felt an added motivation to en
 courage young women to discover the wonderful world of mountain biking. Sa
 ndra is also a Ride Like a Girl Mentor.\n\nRegistration: Registration is r
 equired.  Total group size will be limited to 8 riders (plus lead and swe
 ep). A TORCA Liability Waiver will be required for insurance purposes and 
 it needs to be completed at time of registration.  TORCA Membership can a
 lso be purchased during registration (but is not mandatory).\n\nBring: Mou
 ntain bike in good working condition (minimum front suspension recommended
 )\, comfortable\, weather-appropriate clothing\, multi-tool\, mini-pump\, 
 spare tube that fits your bike\, tire levers\, snack\, water and a mask. R
 ider should be able to carry all of these items with them on the ride (we 
 may not be returning to start/finish location until the end).\n\nProvided:
  Guided group rides.  Two ride leads will be present for each session (at
  least one will have first aid training).  Sandra + one youth leader.\n\n
