 ORCA is once again partnering with local pro rider Sandra Walter and offer
 ing four girls group rides. Please make sure you sign up for the correct r
 ide for the age/skill level.\n\nAbout Sandra: Sandra Walter has been mount
 ain biking for three decades and competes at the elite level for Liv Racin
 g and Team Canada. She has a wide range of experience coaching children an
 d adults. Sandra started coaching as a teenager\, leading kids’ mountain
  bike camps and leading Team BC’s cycling squad at the 1999 BC Canada Su
 mmer Games. She has always felt an added motivation to encourage young wom
 en to discover the wonderful world of mountain biking. Sandra is also a Ri
 de Like a Girl Mentor.\n\nRegistration: Registration is required.  Total 
 group size will be limited to 8 riders (plus lead and sweep). A TORCA Liab
 ility Waiver will be required for insurance purposes and it needs to be co
 mpleted at time of registration.  TORCA Membership can also be purchased 
 during registration (but is not mandatory).\n\nBring: Mountain bike in goo
 d working condition (minimum front suspension recommended)\, comfortable\,
  weather-appropriate clothing\, multi-tool\, mini-pump\, spare tube that f
 its your bike\, tire levers\, snack\, water and a mask. Rider should be ab
 le to carry all of these items with them on the ride (we may not be return
 ing to start/finish location until the end).\n\nProvided: Guided group rid
 es.  Two ride leads will be present for each session (at least one will h
 ave first aid training).  Sandra + one youth leader.\n\nMeeting spot for 
 this ride is at the Mundy Park East Parking Lot off Mariner Drive (626 Mar
 iner Way\, Coquitlam)
